Mission: 

The mission of the Burleson ISD Library Media Centers is to ensure that students and staff are effective and ethical consumers and creators of information and ideas, utilizing appropriate media.

Objectives: 

• BISD libraries will provide a wide range of print and digital resources to support student literacy needs.
• BISD libraries will model and support educational best practices for instruction.
• BISD libraries will support inquiry with informational resources and materials.

Parents may access the online library catalog, and parent control features by logging into Follet/Destiny.

Databases and Library Announcements: To access databases and library announcements, please log into Clever.

All library books, whether donated or purchased, require approval by the Burleson ISD School Board.  Proposed books will be shared for public review on the district Library Services page for 30 days before each board meeting. If you have questions or concerns about the titles on the proposed list, please contact the campus librarian/ media specialist.
